Pushing themselves from the rest seems to be something respectable artist work hard to do, for The Handz it seems to come naturally. His music sounds nothing like other artists. While artist try to make experimental music and fail, he doesn't try, The Handz of Time is just being The Handz of Time. This aspect of his career is probably best explained by the fact that he is his own apprentice. Early in his career,he was only a lyrcist, he depended on a producer before only to have his equipment stolen by him such as refrenced in the song "Hustle." He would not let that deter him. It was then, out of necessity that he spent countless sleepless nights failing over and over again to produce a respectable beat. It wasn't till two years later that he finally felt comfortable enough to proceed. His goal however was not to produce a demo, but an album. This became easier said than done. He spent most of the time working hard to be able to afford equipment to record. In 2006 The album was halfway done.He began working simultaneously on a design for the album. He had artists in talks to create a design but this fell through and he would once again have to move away from relying on others to teaching himself. By 2008 The Handz of Time had finished the album, designed the artwork, and created his own label Killakingdom Entertainment. He had self-taught himself how to produce, engineer, design on professional software, create websites, work with special effects and advanced video editing programs. He produced his whole album, financially backed himself with no other sponsors, and created his own websites. He scouted raw singing talent for some finishing touches on the album and unleashed Killakingdom in 2009.
